Now that Halloween is over and done you may still have some candy hanging around. Since I don’t have any trick or treaters at my house anymore, I always hope for a little leftover candy after the trick or treaters have come. I also tend to over buy on the Halloween candy so I make sure I have leftovers! I also hate the idea of running out of candy and having to turn trick or treaters away! When my kids were at home I had one child who liked to go trick or treating but didn’t really like candy so there was always lots of leftover Halloween candy. How did I raise a child you doesn’t like candy!?!?
Today’s recipe for Candy Cookie Pie is the perfect solution to that leftover candy! This pie is so good that you are going to want to make it even if you don’t have leftover candy, you’ll go out and buy some just to make it!! It is simple to make too. All you need is a store bought graham cracker crust, store bought sugar cookie dough and candy!
You can use whatever combination of candy you like. I used my favorites, Twix, Peanut Butter M & M’s and Rolos. The pie goes together super easy too. You can have the kids do it!
Gently press your cookie dough into the pie crust (it may crack the edges of the pie crust a bit) Then press your candy into the cookie dough.
Bake at 350 degrees F or until the cookie is golden brown and the center is firm.
Then slice yourself off a nice big piece, top it with some ice cream and chocolate sauce and you’ll be in heaven!
The only other thing you will need is a fork!
